“Niamh” trio of Gold Leaf hair pins
"Niamh" trio of Gold Leaf hair pins
The Niamh trio of hair pins is a set of three headpieces adorned with real leaves electro-plated in gold. These leaves frame the delicate flowers which consist of individually hand-wired petals of freshwater pearls and stamens of swarowski crystals. The shape of these flowers was inspired by Ireland’s beloved hawthorn flowers which bring the hedgerows and fields of Ireland to life in mid-May. Native to Ireland ,the hawthorn trees have long been associated with faeries and ancient folklore. They are commonly associated as a symbol of marriage, fertility and protection. Branches of tiny seed pearls and facted cut-glass crystals give the hair pins a natural, organic look.
The hairpins are named Niamh, from the Irish legend of Niamh Chinn Óir (Niamh of the Golden Head), whose love story with Oisín in the land of eternal youth was the inspiration behind the brand. This hairpins would be a stunningly unique bridal accessory set to complete your look. They can be styled in a variety of ways either all together in a cluster or spread out. You can even give one to your bridesmaids and keep the central pin for yourself. The possibilities are endless with this versatile set. They could equally be worn to any special occasion. A set to treasure forever, equisitely handmade for you.
